Devlog #15 - SYNTHADOME Prototype 0.5 is LIVE


SYNTHADOME Prototype 0.5 is here! 

Additions:

More Audio! - Synthadome 0.5 brings nearly a dozen additional audio cues and fixes some of the more irritating sound mixing issues in earlier builds!

Visual readability improvements! - Smaller but important changes were made to some issues regarding readability, such as the player taking damage, there is now a particle effect that takes place whenever the player receives damage, and I intend to deploy this for all enemies when they take damage too!

Bossfight Improvements! - Our Martian Captain is now more formidable than ever, with his health being lowered slightly, but his damage output being increased, with six missiles being shot instead of just 2! However, when his health reaches a certain point, your helpful INT-RN unit will spawn some helpful power-ups you can use to fight back harder!

Upgrade Station! - The HUB has undergone significant additions, the biggest of which being the upgrade store, where the player can purchase upgrades using scrap acquired from destroying bots around the park!


Ultimate Recharging Station - You can now charge up your ultimate ability faster by using the recharging station in the HUB! Allowing you to get back into the fight faster! I'm debating placing these in the parks behind, maybe a puzzle or a hidden secret, will experiment some more!
