Devlog #19 - SYNTHADOME Version 1.0: Main Menus


Both version 0.95 and version 1.0 have minimal visual improvements. The primary fixes are dedicated to the colliders, due to the map being stretched out, in version 0.85 the colliders never moved, which meant that you could access certain areas early without needing to do any of the assigned tasks.  this has since been corrected so the game is not flat out broken anymore. 

New Mode: Endless Mode

Endless mode takes SYNTHADOME in line with its biggest initial inspiration, Call of Duty Zombies: Dead Ops Arcade

Here, the player will delve into the arena of the GLADIATORUM and fight endless waves of enemies, with future plans to add a buy station for upgrades every  rounds, and also random power up spawning!


With this I also added a Main Menu, that has also introduced some minor visual issues, such as:

- If the player enters story mode, and then exits back out to main menu, the do not destroy order keeps everything on the screen along with the main menu, a minor visual hiccup that can be easily corrected.

- If the player goes into endless mode, back to the main menu, the mouse disappears, although buttons can still be clicked.
