Version 0.3 Is LIVE!


Happy Easter weekend, everyone! SYNTHADOME Version 0.3 brings some bug fixes and quality of life improvements that were raised in previous test versions, but also brings the final level of the Martian Paradise level, the big BOSSFIGHT with Captain Mars, former mascot of the Martian Paradise, now its tyrannical ruler.

In terms of issues I'm currently aware of, that will be addressed in version 0.4:

1.  ULTIMATE ability - when the player presses the Q key, it'll activate the player's special ability, you dont know this, because it doesnt say it anywhere, it was supposed to mention it in a message found when the player first enters the HUB Area, im currently working on an expansion to the HUB that has a room dedicated to changing and upgrading special abilites.

2. BOSSFIGHT Ending - you may find that nothing happens when the boss fight ends! This is a super early build, and I'm still working on adding new parts. Still, I think I need to get more test data before I go further, as I would like to have an idea of whether what I have so far is good, as it will influence my design choices going forward!

3. Audio - proving to be a trickier implementation than I initially realised! Sound mixing is a minefield of settings I'd never messed with before! And until I can get a proper lock on that, some other audio bits will be missing while I fix what's in there!
